Re-Design Your Own Garden is a private garden design course running for 6 weeks from 28th January, 2014. You will learn the principles of garden design and apply them to your very own garden under the guidance of Nigel Philips FSGD.
This is a new introductory course to re designing your own garden or part of your garden that you are not happy with.
The course will take the format of informal discussion with evidence from each of the students garden, brought along by them to the first session.
Ideas for improving these gardens will be drawn up under my tuition and discussed by the group.
Garden design principles will be used as a guide to help come up with the right solution for your garden.
It is essentially an informal introduction into how you can get the best from your garden and to come away with a plan for change.
The Professional Diploma in Garden Design course starts again this year on 20th September. This is a part time course aimed for those who wish to start a career in garden design.
Below you will see some of the work carried out by this years students and exhibited at the Open Day at Plumpton College on May 11th 2013.

Nigel Philips Landscape and Garden Design were this year at the Heathfield Show. This was our third year with Architect Stephen Langer Associates from Tunbridge Wells.
The weather was bright and sunny for a change! The stand was well attended by future clients and interested garden enthusiasts.
Cheese and wine were the order of the day rather than hot soup and tea!
